Spiced Pecans

This recipe has become a must every Christmas. My brother-in-law will not let me in his home if I don't bring it!

1 egg
2 T water
2 C pecan halves
1/2 C sugar
1 t cinnamon
3/4 t salt
1/4 t ground cloves
1/4 t ground nutmeg

Beat egg and water with a ford. Stir in pecans and toss until coated. Drain off excess egg mixture. Mix remaining ingredients in a separate bowl, and toss with pecans. Spread in a single layer on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 300 degrees F for 30 minutes. Remove immediately to aluminum foil to cool. Separate into individual nuts when completely cooled.
