I have always made "Pizza Piena" for Easter.
It is like bread dough on the outside, placed in a deep pan, round preferrably, filled with dried sausage, mozzarella, hard boiled eggs, grated cheese etc. I would like a recipe for the crust. I usually make a yeast dough roll it out and line the pan and fill it with the ingredients mentioned above. does anyone have a recipe they would like to share. this is a southern Italian creation.
