Are you looking for something that is well-known and famous here in Canada, called 'Nanaimo Bars'? They're named for the city in British Columbia, Nanaimo. If this is the actual recipe you're looking for, I've got several versions of it, one being from a friend who is from Nanaimo. You can also buy this in a mix form here in Canada, and already prepared in the refrigerated dessert section of supermarkets, in a variety of flavours (as though the 'original' isn't already delicious enough!!!).
