I am trying to help a friend find a recipe for something Puerto Rican called Pastalone. She says it is a layered dish with plaintains and pork, almost like a lasagna. A dear Puerto Rican friend would make it but would not share the recipe. She would tell you it was a secret recipe from her grandmother. She has also sinced moved away from my friend.
