Hi Kathy,

I am from Kabul, Afghanistan. I would like to clarify a few things about the method of cooking mantu.
Only the ground meat(lamb/beef) is cooked in the frying pan. Make sure the meat is NOT fully cooked otherwise, it will be crunchy and chewy. You do not need to cook the rest of the ingredients. Mix all ingredients with the half way cooked ground meat, and now its ready for the wonton wrapper.

P.S. try to add a cup of chopped cabbage to your ingredients.
