1 tbsp Vegetable oil 1/2 lb Chicken breast strips boneless, skinless 1 pkg Ranch Salad Dressing Mix Hidden Valley Original 16 oz Vegetable medley, thawed 2 tbsp Water
Heat vegetable oil in large skillet. Add chicken breast strips. Stir in one package Hidden Valley Original Ranch Salad Dressing
Mix to coat chicken. Add thawed vegetable medley and water. Stir-fry about 2 minutes.KellyWA (07:29:28) : Gingered Ribs
1/2 cup brown sugar 1 envelope dry Italian salad dressing mix 1 teaspoon celery salt 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger 1/2 cup ketchup 1/4 cup vinegar 1/2 cup water 4 pounds ribs (pork or beef)
Combine brown sugar, salad dressing mix, celery salt, ginger, ketchup, vinegar and water. Place ribs in a Dutch oven and bake at 350 for 2 hours. Baste ribs with sauce every 30 minutes.KellyWA (07:28:59) : Chicken
3 pounds Chicken pieces 1/2 cup Flour 1 package Dry Italian-style salad dressing Salt 1 Egg 2 tablespoons Club soda 1 cup pancake mix -- (or more) 1 teaspoon Poultry seasoning 1 teaspoon Paprika 1/4 teaspoon Pepper Oil for deep frying
Rinse chicken pieces; pat dry with paper towels. Mix flour with dry salad dressing mix & salt to taste. Dip chicken pieces in this mixture and let sit for a couple of minutes. Beat egg and club soda; in another shallow bowl, blend pancake mix with poultry seasoning, paprika and pepper. Dip flour-coated chicken pieces in egg mixture, then in pancake mix mixture. Let sit on wire rack while heating deep fat fryer to 375 degrees. Cook chicken pieces, turning once, until a rich golden brown, about 20-25 minutes. Drain on paper towels.] Yield: 4 servings. Variation: To prepare EXTRA CRISPY CHICKEN, dip the chicken (after it has been coated in the pancake mixture) back in the egg mixture and again in the pancake mixture. Place roast in slow cooker. Combine sauce ingredients and pour over beef. Cover, cook on low for 8 hours. Meat may be sliced and served with hard rolls or shredded with 2 forks and served over noodles or rice, with broth thickened with flour.KellyWA (07:27:07) : JOY'S QUICK CRACKER SNACKS

Put the oyster crackers in a LARGE mixing bowl that has a cover, then sprinkle the dry salad dressing mix over the top...
Pour the olive oil over the top of the cracker/dressing mix and cover with the lid... Shake, mix, blend or what ever for approx. 30 min. then serve...
Variations... Make several different flavors of this recipe (using same the amounts and different shape crackers) and then combine all of the different flavored crackers in one container... *or* use several types of CHEX type cereals in place of oyster crackersKellyWA (07:26:06) : OVEN FRENCH FRIES
6 Medium potatoes 2 T Oil 1 oz. Good Seasons Italian Dressing (dry) 1 T Chopped fresh parsley
*Dressing, not mixed. Preheat oven to 350F. Peel potatoes and slice for French fries. Lay out on paper towel, pat dry. Potatoes should be as dry as possible. Put potatoes in a large bowl and drizzle with oil, tossing to coat evenly. Lay in a single layer on a large baking sheet; sprinkle dry dressing mix and parsley over all. Bake 25 min, then flip over only once. Return to oven and increase temperature to 450F. Cook 3 to 5 min longer until potatoes are tender and start to brown. susannahOH (07:17:53) : Fossil Food:

Makes 2 lbs. but can be doubled
Combine in large bowl: 6 c. flour 1 Tbls salt 6 Tbls baking powder 6 Tbls sugar 2 powdered milk Mix well, store in airtight container on cupboard shelf
To use: Combine in bowl: 1 beaten egg 1 c/ water 2 Tbsp butter, melted 1 1/2 c. pancake mixture Drop by spoonfuls onto griddle or into a frying pan...serves 3-4 You can add berries when you are ready to use the mixture!
