UPSIDE-DOWN GERMAN CHOCOLATE CKAE
1 German Chocolate cake mix 1 cup chopped pecans 1 cup coconut 8 (oz.) cream cheese 1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) melted margarine 1 egg 1 lb. confectioners sugar
Sprinkle the pecans and coconut in a 9 X 13 inch pan lined with waxed paper and grease. Mix cake mix as directed on package. Pour on top of pecans and coconut leaving 1/2 inch around edges of pan. Mix together the cream cheese, margarine, egg and confectioners sugar. Spread this on top of cake mixture. Bake 350 degrees preheated oven about 45 minutes or until cake pulls away from edges of the pan, but is still "soft" on top. (Top will look like it is not done but will firm up as the cake cools.)
