Steak & Vegetable Kabobs

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/8 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 pkg. steak - cut into chunks
12 cherry tomatoes
12 fresh mushroom caps
1 green pepper - cut into chunks
2 onions - cut into chunks

Place all the meat & veg. in a 9X13" pan. Pour marinade ingredients on top. Refrigerate overnight. Stirring often. I then cooked the meat on the indoor grill & the veg. in a skillet. I boiled the marinade. I served it all over a bed of rice.
