1 lb. lean ground chuck 1/2 tsp. onion salt 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper 4 thin slices Monterey Jack cheese 4 hamburger buns
Form ground beef into 8 thin patties. Sprinkle onion salt and black pepper over them. Place a slice of cheese on four of the patties. Cover each with another patty, pinching to seal cheese inside. Freeze ina l-gallon freezer bag with waxed paper between each set of patties. To serve, thaw patties. Grill or fry until done. Serve on hamburger buns. Makes 4 servings. Freeze patties in 1-gallon freezer bag. |
