Butterscotch Ice Cream Sauce

Just a note - This never lasts long because someone keeps dipping it out of the jar with a spoon ?!! :)

1/2 cup margarine
1 3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup evaporated milk

Cook corn syrup, evaporated milk and brown sugar over low heat for about 6 min. Remove from heat and stir in margarine and vanilla. Cool and serve over ice cream, apple pie or anything else you can think of. :)
