BACON QUICHE
6-12 slices, bacon, fried crisply and crumbled 1 cup shredded cheese (I use Cheddar) 1/3 cup finely chopped onion 4 eggs, beaten 2 cups light cream(May use 1 cup milk and 1 cup evaporated milk) 3/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. black pepper unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Sprinkle the bacon, cheese, and onion in pie crust. Beat together the eggs, light cream, salt, and pepper. Pour over the mixture in the pie crust. Bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees then reduce heat to 300 degrees. Bake 30 minutes more or until a knife comes out clean when inserted in the center. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
