Spaghetti Sauce Recipe By : Susan Wlson Serving Size : 6
1/3 cup olive oil 1/2 pound ground beef 1/2 cup onion -- chopped 1 clove garlic -- minced 2 pounds tomatoes, canned -- 2# 3 oz size 6 ounces tomatoe paste 1 tablespoon light brown sugar 2 teaspoons oregano -- dried 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon basil -- dried 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Heat oil in a large skillett. Add ground beef, onion and garlic. Saute until meat is no longer read. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, brown sugar, oregano, salt, basil and pepper. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with pasta
