1/2 C butter 1C sugar 1 egg 1 cup chopped dates 2 cup rice krispies 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1/2 tsp vanilla grated coconut
Put first 4 ingredients in saucepan. After it comes to boil, cook for 5 min. (watch that it doesn't burn). Remove from heat. Add 2 heaping cups rice krispies, 1/2 cup chopped nuts and 1/2 tsp vanilla. roll in grated coconut == about a good heaping teaspoonful.

4 cups Cheerios 2 cups Rice Crispies Cereal 2 cups dry roasted peanuts 2 cups M&M's 1 cup light corn syrup 1 cup sugar 1-1/2 cups creamy peanut butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a large bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients; set aside.
In a saucepan, bring corn syrup and sugar to a boil, stirring frequently.
Remove from the heat; stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
Pour over cereal mixture and toss to coat evenly.
Spread into a greased 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Cool.
Cut into 3x3 bars. Makes 15 bars.

1 stick oleo 1-1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup milk 20 large marshmallows 2 cups crushed Graham crackers 1/2 cup coconut 1/2 cup nuts
Boil this together for three minutes, remove from heat.
Stir in marshmallows, mix well.
Add Graham crackers, coconut, and nuts.
Mix well, drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.

6 ounces butterscotch chips 1/4 cup light corn syrup 2 tablespoons milk 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoons vanilla 3-1/2 cups puffed corn cereal 1 cup broken pretzels
Mix first 5 ingredients in saucepan. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in cereal and pretzels. Drop by rounded tablespoonsful onto wax paper and allow to harden.
KellyWA (04:26:40) : Crunch Sticks
1/2 cup butter (creamed) 18 ounce jar crunchy peanut butter 2 cups powdered sugar 5 cups Rice Krispies cereal Chocolate wafers*
Melt chocolate wafers in top of double boiler over hot water. While melting, cream butter and peanut butter with powdered sugar.
Work in the Rice Krispies with your hands. Roll into an oblong shape.
Dip sticks in chocolate and let excess drip off. Place on wax paper and let chocolate harden.
*The chocolate wafers can be found any place that carries Wilton products. You may also be able to find them at your local grocery store. These are also referred to as dipping chocolate or chocolate coating wafers.

1 lb. white chocolate or chocolate, melted 2 cups broken up pretzel sticks 1 cup peanuts
Melt chocolate in double boiler.
Add pretzels and nuts. Stir until well mixed.
Turn quickly on buttered cookie sheet.
Let set overnight or until hard.
Break into pieces.

12-ounce package semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup unsalted cashews 1 cup oyster crackers
Melt chips, fold in cashews and crackers. Drop onto wax paper.

2 cups sugar 3/4 cup oleo 1 can (6 ounce) evaporated milk (Carnation) 1 package instant butterscotch pudding mix, small package 2 1/2 cups quick oats
Combine sugar, margarine and milk in saucepan.
Bring to a boil. Add pudding and oats and remove from heat. Stir to mix.
Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
Let cool 15 minutes.

1 cup peanut butter 1 cup white Karo 1 cup sugar 5 cups cornflakes
Mix syrup and sugar and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and add peanut butter.
Add cornflakes and drop onto waxed paper.

1 jar marshmallow cream 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter 2 tablespoons butter or oleo, melted 1 can chow mein noodles, 5 ounces 1 cup pastel M & M's confectioner's sugar
In a mixing bowl, beat marshmallow cream, peanut butter and butter until smooth.
Fold in noodles and M & M's. Chill until easy to handle.
On waxed paper, form mixture by 1/3 cupfuls into 3 inch nests.
Chill for 30 minutes. Place several M & M's in each nest.

2 cups chocolate chips 2 cups butterscotch chips 2 cups blanched peanuts 2 cups chow mein noodles (if noodles are too large, break them up)
In a large bowl mix peanuts and noodles together.
Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in microwave oven (just until melted).
Pour over peanuts and noodles and blend so everything is coated.
Drop from spoon onto cookie sheet and put in fridge until they chill.

1 cup vanilla, milk or white chocolate pieces 1 tablespoon finely chopped candied ginger 1/2 cup coarsely chopped cashew nuts 1 cup chow-mein noodles 1/2 cup pastel-colored miniature marshmallows In medium saucepan, melt vanilla-milk pieces over very low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in ginger, cashews, noodles and marshmallows.
Drop by teaspoon on wax paper; chill.
Note: Most of us know vanilla-milk pieces as white-chocolate pieces, but they cannot legally be labeled as such when made and sold in the United States.

4 cups chinese noodles 4 cups marshmallows 1 cup butterscotch chips 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 cup peanut butter
Mix noodles and marshmallows together. Melt chips in double-boiler over hot water. Stir in peanut butter. Mix the chocolate mixture with the noodles. Drop by teaspoonsful onto wax paper. Refrigerate until firm.
Note: This tastes good with almost anything. You can use peanuts, raisins, peanut butter Captain Crunch cereal. Use up any goodies in your cupboard. After all, they'll be chocolate covered--how can you go wrong??

2 cups sugar 1/2 cups cocoa 1/2 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 cup butter 1 cup coconut 3 cups oats 1/2 cup nuts; chopped
Combine sugar, cocoa, milk, vanilla, and butter in large saucepan.
Cook on high heat for five minutes only. (232F)
Add coconut, oats, and nuts all at once to cooked mixture.
Drop immediately by teaspoons onto waxed paper.

2 cups sugar 1/2 cup cocoa 1/2 cup milk 1 stick margarine 1/2 cup peanut butter 1 tsp vanilla 3 cups oats
Mix sugar, cocoa, milk and margerine. Melt over medium heat and bring to a boil. Boil for 90 seconds (do NOT overcook!)
Remove from heat, add peanut butter, vanilla and oats.
Mix well and drop onto wax paper to cool.

2 cups sugar 1/2 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla 5 cups quick cooking oats, divided 1/4 tsp butter 3 tbsp cocoa 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
Mix sugar, butter, milk and cocoa. Bring to rolling boil and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. (Add 3 cups oats, then gradually add more till consistency is reached.) Drop quickly by teaspoons onto waxed paper. Chill.

1 (10 3/4 oz.) Sara Lee Pound Cake, frozen 1 (8 oz.) container prepared chocolate frosting or other favorite-flavor frosting Sprinkles, cake decorations, prepared tube decorator icings, and/or hard candies
Cut Pound Cake horizontally into 3 or 4 equal-size layers, depending on desired thickness. Use a variety of cookie cutter to make shapes; decorate with prepared frostings, sprinkles, candy letters and shapes. Makes about 12 cookies.

2 cups sugar 1/2 cup milk 1 stick butter 1/2 cup plain or chunky peanut butter 4 tbs. cocoa 3 cups oats 1 tsp. vanilla
Boil: Sugar, milk, butter & cocoa for 1 1/2 minute. (start timing when mixture comes to full boil.) Remove from heat. Add: peanut butter, oats & vanilla. Beat until blended.
Drop by tsp. onto waxed paper to set & cool.

2 cups light brown sugar 1 stick butter 1/2 cup milk 3/4 cup chopped nuts 3 cups oats, quick 1 teaspoon vanilla
Combine brown sugar, butter, and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Pour over nuts, oats and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper. Cool.
For chocolate drops use 2 cups white sugar and 1/2 cup cocoa.
You could also add peanut butter and/or chocolate chips, carob chips, coconut, etc. to the oatmeal/nut mixture before pouring the hot sugar mixture over.

2 cups white sugar 3/4 cup butter or margarine 1 (6 ounce) can evaporated milk 1 (4 serving size) package instant butterscotch pudding mix 2 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
1 In a saucepan combine the sugar, butter or margarine and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil. Add the instant pudding and oats. Remove from heat and stir to mix.
2 Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let cool for 15 minutes.

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup rum 1/4 cup light corn syrup 3 cups fine vanilla wafer crumbs 1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans 1 cup confectioners' sugar 24 red candied cherries, halved
1 Melt the chocolate chips and stir in the rum and corn syrup.
2 Stir together the vanilla wafer crumbs, pecans and 1/2 cup of the confectioners' sugar. Drizzle the chocolate mixture over the crumb mixture and stir until blended.
3 Shape mixture into 1 inch balls. Roll balls in the remaining confectioners' sugar. Place cherry half in center of each cookie, pressing down lightly. Store in an airtight container for several days to develop flavor. Makes 48 cookies
KellyWA (03:45:56) : Apricot Confection A cross between a cookie and a candy. Absolutely irresistable.
3 eggs 1/2 cup white sugar 3/4 cup chopped nuts 2 cups flaked coconut 1 (7.5 ounce) package vanilla wafers, finely crushed 8 ounces dried apricots
1 Snip apricots into small strips. Sprinkle with water and let stand in a sealed container overnight. 2 Combine eggs, sugar, and apricots. In a lightly buttered skillet cook the apricot mixture over low heat for 10 minutes. Stir in the nuts, vanilla wafer crumbs and 1/2 of the coconut. 3 Shape mixture into small balls. Roll balls in the remaining coconut. Store in a tightly covered box. These taste best after aging for a few days.

2 cups Sugar 1/2 cup Milk 1 stick Butter 4 Tbsp Cocoa 3 cups Quick Oats 1/2 tsp Vanilla 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
Combine the sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa in a pot and bring it to a boil while stirring. Boil it for a long minute and take the pot off the heat.
Add the oats, vanilla, and peanut butter, stirring them in thoroughly. Drop blobs of this onto wax paper and cool for about a half an hour or so - they should be cool enough to eat by then.
