1/2 cup shortening 2 sticks margarine 2 1/4 cups sugar 6 eggs 3 cups flour 1 tp baking powder 1/4 cup milk 2 tsp vanilla 3/4 cups crushed pineapple with juice
Cream shortening , margarine and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour alternately with milk and vanilla. Finally add crushed pineapple and pour into a greased and floured 12 cup bundt pan (or 2 loaf pans). Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Allow to cool for 1/2 hr and remove from pan. Dust with 10x sugar and serve with strawberries, blueberries or ice cream.

5 Golden Delicious Apples 1 lemon 2 c. sugar 3/4 c. water 1 stick butter 1 t. vanilla 1 pie crust (Pillsbury)
Peel, core and slice the apples, put into a large bowl and toss with the juice of the lemon. Set aside.
In a large 8" cast iron skillet, put in the butter, sugar, vanilla and bring to a boil stirring til it is caramel color. It will be thick and sticky. Pour in the apples carefully. Stir to coat, lower heat to medium and cook for 25 mts. The lemon juice will slightly liquefy the syrup.
When the apples are down, scoop out about 1 cup of the syrup. Reserve this for waffles or pancakes the next day.
Place the pie crust over and fold around edges all around. Bake in 350 oven for 35 mts. Take out and very carefully, after 5 mts. invert onto a large pie dish.
Serve with whipped cream!!

1 pouch Campbell's Dry Onion Quality and Recipe Mix 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 3/4 cup water 1 tbl. vegetable oil 1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into thin strips 1 1/2 cups broccoli flowerets 2 medium carrots, cut into matchstick strips (about 1 cup) hot cooked rice with chives.
In small bowl, combine soup mix, ginger, garlic powder and water; set aside. In a 10-inch skillet or wok over medium-high heat, in hot oil, stir-fry half of the beef until browned. Remove; set aside. Repeat with remaining beef. Spoon off fat. In same skillet, combine soup mixture, broccoli and carrots. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low. Cover; cook 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp, stirring occasionally. Return beef to skillet. Heat through, stirring occasionally. Serve with rice.

Garlic Polish Sausage 1 pkg. macaroni shells, medium size 1 can Rotel Tomatoes 1/2 chopped onion.
Cook sausage, sliced in serving sizes. Set aside. Cook macaroni along with onion, drain, add Rotel, sausage and a little margarine (for Flavor). Mix, heat thoroughly and enjoy.

4 Tbs. butter 1 cup brown sugar 7 slices pineapple 1/2 cup shortening 1 cup sugar 3 beaten eggs 2 cups flour 1/2 tsp. salt 3 tsp. baking powder 2/3 cup pineapple juice from the can of pineapple rings 1 tsp. vanilla
Melt butter in a 10 inch skillet. Add brown sugar and place pineapple rings in single layer around bottom of skillet. Place a cherry inside each pineapple ring and in the spaces in between. Cream shortening and sugar together. Add beaten eggs. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with pineapple juice. Add vanilla and mix well. Grease sides of skillet. Pour this mixture over the melted butter, brown sugar and pineapple in bottom of pan. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Invert on large cake plate when done. Comments:
