Sour Cream Noodle Bake From: Sue/NE Makes 8 servings
1 lb. ground beef 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tbsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1 cup tomato sauce 1 cup cream style cottage cheese 1 cup sour cream 1 cup chopped green pepper 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese 1 (8 oz.) pkg. med. noodles, cooked
Brown ground beef in butter in skillet, stirring until crumbly. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce, mixing well. Simmer for 5 minutes. Combine remaining 5 ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Layer noodle and ground beef mixture alternately in 2 qt. casserole until all ingredients are used, ending with ground beef mixture. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly.
