Homemade Tootsie Rolls

10 ounces by weight of chocolate
2/3 cup light corn syrup

Warm to melt the chocolate, stir together with corn syrup to mix fully. Wrap in wax paper and let ripen overnight at room temp. Knead to bring the cocoa butter back into the candy. Roll into long "snakes" and then snip into individual pieces.
