Sweet Cheese Spread

Make one day in advance.

2 pkgs. (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
4 Tbsp. fresh orange juice
1 can (16 oz.) fruit cocktail, well drained and chopped*
1 pkg. (3 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Mix all ingredients (except pecans) together. Chill several hours and form into ball with spoon. Coat with pecans or slivered almonds. Serve with Waverly Wafers or other crackers that are not highly flavored.

*You must be careful to really drain the fruit cocktail or this could be real soupy.

I have a pretty glass bowl I use and instead of making a ball, I "bowl" it and sprinkle the nuts on top. Either way ..it's wonderful!
