Peanut blossoms

1-3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
48 chocolate kisses

Combine all the ingredients except for the chocolate kisses in large mixer bowl. Mix on lower speed until dough forms. Shape into balls using rounded teaspoonfuls for each Roll balls in sugar place on ungreased cookie sheet Bake 370 for 10-12 minutes top each cookie immediately with candy Press firmly around edges so cookie will crack
