Microwave Walnut Toffee Crunch Compliments of: Reynolds Wrap Kitchens Makes: 1 pound.
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup butter or margarine, cut in pieces 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
In 2-quart bowl combine sugar and butter. Micro-cook on high power settling 4 to 8 minutes or until sugar is dissolved, stirring after 2 minutes, then every minute. Do not overcook. Mixture should look smooth with a rich golden brown color. Spread mixture on a 14 x 14-inch square of Heavy Duty Reynolds Wrap to form a 10 x 8-inch rectangle.
Sprinkle with chocolate morsels. Let stand 30 seconds or until chocolate is melted. Spread chocolate evenly over toffee layer. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cool. Break into pieces.
