Nuts and Bolts

Cut from a magazine, many moons ago.
Also found a copy in granny’s recipe box from Louise Roach, 1963.

1/2 cup butter
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp celery salt
1/2 tsp onion salt
2 cups cheerios
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 cup wheat chex
1 cup rice chex
1 cup pretzel sticks
1 cup mixed nuts

Heat oven to 250F. Melt butter. Stir in sauce and salts. Add cereals, nuts, and pretzels. Mix well. Heat in oven 1 hour. Stir every 15 or 20 minutes.

I Have changed this quite a bit for my spicy taste buds.

1/2 cup butter
3-4 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp garlic salt
texas pete hot sauce to taste

Any or all of the following (use what you like):
Wheat Chex
Rice Chex
Corn Chex
Cheerios
Cheese Nips Or Cheese Its
Nuts
Stick Pretzels

Then follow directions as above. I like really spicy so, I add garlic salt and hot sauce to taste during baking. The salt can get heavy if you like a lot of garlic, so I would suggest some garlic powder also.
