Meat and Cheese Cocktail Rounds

1 Pound Lean ground beef
1 Pound Italian sausage
1 pound processes American cheese, cubed
Garlic powder to taste
1 package party rye bread
Leaf oregano, crumbled.

Brow meats together in large skillet. Drain off fat. Add cheese and garlic powder. Simmer until cheese melts, stirring to blend. Spread meat/cheese mixture on rye bread, using 1 teaspoon mixture for each slice. Sprinkle with oregano. Bake 375 degrees for 15 minutes and serve hot. You can also cool and freeze on flat cookie sheets until firm, transfer to heavy plastic freezer bags. To reheat, microwave on 70 percent for one minute.
