NUTS FOR CHOCOLATE BARS
2 cups Flour 1 cup sugar, divided 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks margarine) 1 package (4 ounces) Baker's German Sweet Chocolate I cup light corn syrup 3 eggs 1 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
Heat oven to 350
Mix flour and 1/2 cup sugar in small bowl. Cut in 1/2 cup margarine until it crumbles. Press firmly into bottom of greased foil lined 9x13 pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until edges are lightly brown. Microwave chocolate and remaining margarine in large bowl on high for 1&1/2 minutes or until melted stir in corn syrup, remaining 1/2 cup sugar eggs and vanilla stir until well blended. Pour over crust and sprinkle with nuts
Bake 30 minutes or until filling is set. Cool in pan and cut into bars. |
