1 package Ore-Ida Country Style or Southern Style Hash Browns (26 oz.) thawed 1 1/2 cups jack or pepperjack cheese, shredded 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup (10 1/2 oz.) undiluted 1 cup light or regular sour cream 1/2 cup frozen Ore-Ida Chopped Onions 1/3 cup bottled roasted red peppers, drained and diced, --or-- 1 jar chopped pimientos (2 oz.) drained 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup fresh French or Italian bread crumbs 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
Heat oven to 350°.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except breadcrumbs and butter, mixing well.
Spread into an ungreased 11 X 7-inch baking dish or 2-quart casserole.
Toss breadcrumbs with melted butter; arrange over casserole.
Bake 30 minutes or until breadcrumbs are golden brown and mixture is bubbly.
