Quiche Lorraine
6 oz. shortcrust shell 125 g lean bacon, rinded and chopped 125 g Gruyere cheese, grated 2 eggs, beaten 150 ml single cream or milk salt and pepper
press pastry into pan, and blind bake for about 10 to 15 minutues.
Scatter bacon and cheese. Mix eggs and cream, with s&p, pour over filling. Bake at 200C for about 30 mins.
Serves 4
