SESAME BROCCOLI From: the American Association of Cancer Research
2 tsp. sesame seeds 1 bunch broccoli 1 clove minced garlic 3 Tbs. orange juice 2 tsp. sesame oil 2 tsp. soy sauce 1 Tbs. grated fresh gingerroot In small pan, cook the sesame seeds over medium heat for 3 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally. Set aside.
Cut the broccoli into florets and slice diagonally. Steam it for 5-7 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Drain the broccoli and place it in a serving dish.
Combine the orange juice, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic and gingerroot and pour over the broccoli, tossing to coat evenly. Sprinkle the entire dish with sesame seeds.
Each of the 5 servings contains 55 calories and 3 grams of fat.
