I make these pineapple bars often and they are THE BEST! they are real easy and real good... you absolutely must make these!

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 can crushed pineapple, well drained
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Powdered sugar

Put sugar in large mixing bowl. Melt butter and add to sugar, mixing well. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl. Add beaten eggs to sugar and butter mixture.

Fold in dry ingredients. Add pineapple and walnuts, and mix well. Pour batter into a well-greased 9x13x2-inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

Remove and let cool. Cut into bars and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
