Tangy Tailgating or Picnic Franks Makes 12-15 servings
1 lb. of hot dogs (any variety) cut into one-inch pieces 1 cup ketchup 1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple in juice, undrained 1/2 cup grape jelly 1 to 2 tbsp. chopped jalapeno peppers
Boil hot dogs according to package directions. Combine ketchup, pineapple, jelly and jalapenos. Cook over medium heat until jelly is melted. Stir in franks, cook for 5 -6 minutes.
Serve warm with appetizer picks.
