Bacon drippings 1 cup dry bread crumbs salt and pepper 2 eggs 2 green tomatoes
In a large frying pan, heat the bacon drippings over medium heat. Season the breadcrumbs with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper. Beat eggs. Slice the tomatoes half an inch. Dip the tomato slices in the beaten egg and coat with bead crumbs. Fry the tomatoes in the hot fat until golden brown. about 2 min. |
