Asiago-Pepper Bread
Makes: 1 (1 1/2-pound) loaf, (16 slices)

3 cups bread flour
1 cup warm water -- (100 degrees to 110 degrees)
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk
1/2 cup grated Asiago cheese -- (2 ounces)
1 1/2 tablespoons minced green onions
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon butter -- melted
2 1/2 teaspoons bread-machine yeast
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
1 large egg

This flavorful loaf is great for sandwiches, or toasted and served with an Italian meal.

Spoon flour lightly into dry measuring cups and level with a knife. Follow manufacturer's instructions for placing flour and remaining ingredients into bread pan; select bake cycle and start bread machine.
