Spicy Malay Chicken Wings

2 pounds chicken wings -- trimmed and split
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons curry powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
3 tablespoons lime juice
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic -- finely minced

Rinse chicken; pat dry.

In large bowl, mix all ingredients except chicken. Mix until smooth. Stir in chicken to coat. Marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours or overnight (I place the chicken and marinade into a plastic ziploc freezer bag).

Set oven control to broil or heat grill. Broil or grill chicken, 4 to 6 inches from heat, about 7 minutes on each side until chicken is no longer pink when cut into.
