My Heavenly Whipped Dessert

This is a must for all our Holiday desserts.

1 cup sugar
1 cup pineapple juice
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp flour
2 tbsp oleo or butter
1 can white cherries, fruit cocktail "or" just the pineapple (all drained well) I prefer just the pineapple but the cherries were in the orig. recipe.
1/2 to 1 lb. min. marshmallows
1 or 2 pints (cartons) heavy whipping cream
chopped nuts (optional)

Cook and stir the first 5 ingredients until thick, Cool, then fold in the whipping cream, let sit awhile in fridge. Add the can fruit and marshmallows. I like to add nuts.
