Plantation Cookies

Another one you aren’t going to keep in the cookie box
Great cookie with coffee or tea. Please use butter it isn't the same and tastes different with margarine.
Makes 100 plus
2 pounds 4 oz butter, softened (mean butter too)
1 pound 5 oz sugar
2 pounds 8 oz flour
5 oz peanut or any nut chopped fine
Bake in 350 oven 5-9 minutes until light brown on edges. Watch carefully, will burn fast. Bring out and let cool in the pan for a couple minutes then put on rack.
