Cherry Cheese Brownies Newsgroups: rec.food.recipes/Janic412 Makes 24 large or 48 small brownies
1 (21.5 oz.) pkg. brownie mix 2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. lemon extract (optional) 1 egg 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Heat oven to 350F. Prepare brownie mix as directed on package, except bake for 20 minutes. Beat vanilla, egg, milk, and cream cheese in large bowl until smooth. Pour slowly over baked brownie layer. Bake until topping is set, 25 minutes. Cool 2 hours; spread with pie filling. Cut into 1 1/2 inch or 2 inch squares. Store in refrigerator.
