Cupcake Ice Cream Cones

These are great for school holiday/birthday parties.

One package of any flavor cake mix.
Flat bottom ice cream cones (as many as you need)
Frosting
Sprinkles, gel, small candies other decorations

1. Make the cake batter according to directions.

2. Fill the ice cream cones up about 2/3 full

3. Bake them in the oven at 350 for about 15-20 minutes.

4. Let cool and then frost and decorate as desired.

Sorry I can't be much more specific. I remember having them about 20 years ago at a school party, when you could bring home baked stuff. I made them for my daughter’s preschool class, they were a huge hit, and everyone wanted to know how I did it. You can decorate to match any occasion. They puff out over the top and look like real ice cream cones. Can get soft if stored in airtight container overnight, but if you let them get air for about 1/2 hour before serving, the crisp back up.
