Powdered Sugar Cookies

Makes about 5 dozen

These are THE BEST!

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup butter (or butter flavor crisco)
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond extract
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream or tartar

Cream Wet, Mix Dry, Blend together with mixer.

I usually separate into 2 or 3 different chunks and knead in a little dye to each (in festive colors)

Chill the dough if too sticky to roll

Roll to 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick & use cookie cutters

375 degree oven, 7-8 min (or till done).
