Peach French Toast
1 stick margarine 6 eggs 1 cup brown sugar, packed 1 1/2 cup milk or cream 2 Tbsps water 1 tsp vanilla 29 oz canned peaches or fresh 1 loaf french bread, processed into crumbs
Cook butter and brown sugar over medium heat until butter is melted. Add water and cook until mixture bubbles. Cool. Drain peaches if canned. Spray 13" X 9" X 2" baking dish with pam. Pour in butter and sugar mixture, lay peach slices in and cover with bread crumbs. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnite. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Mix some pecans with maple syrup for those who really have a sweet tooth.
