St Patrick's Day Cake:
Mix 1 white cake mix according to directions.Add 1 tsp. of "pure" *peppermint.Add enough green food coloring to tint a light green.Bake cake as per pkg.directions.When cake is done & still hot,spread 1 large jar Fudge Ice CReam Topping over top.Sprinkle with nuts.Cool completely.
Mix: 1 1/2 tsp.pure *peppermint 1 small carton Cool Whip green food coloring(enough for light green tint)
Spread over cake & refrigerate.This is also pretty for Christmas.
*This is for pure peppermint, NOT peppermint extract
