Easy Brownies
rec.crafts.textiles.quilting/Sherry (BZQLTR) (2000)

I will sneak in here quickly with my brownie recipe. Been making it for 23 years. The important thing is it has to be easy and fast. Can make these during the TV commercials...

In a large bowl mix:

2 eggs
1 cup sugar

Mix together & add:
5-6 Tablespoons cocoa (about 1/2 cup) * I LIKE chocolate*
1/3 cup oil or melted butter

Stir and add:
2/3 cup flour (up to 3/4 cup if you like them more cake-like)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Stir!

Pour into greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350F for about 25 min.

I hate nuts, but you can stir some in if you insist!
Frosting (icing) is optional too.
