Grandma's Dololly (Quick Cobbler)

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine
1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
2 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 can fruit pie filling

Melt butter in baking dish.

Mix first five ingredients, and pour over melted butter, but do not mix.

Pour fruit over batter.

Bake 30 minutes at 425-degrees F.
