Bohemian Christmas Cookies Rec.food.veg.cooking by Nancyaery (2001) 1 C. shortening 1 1/4 C. confectioners sugar 6 Oz. sweet milk chocolate* 1/8 Tsp. salt 1 1/4 C. sifted flour 1 Tsp. vanilla 1 C. walnuts
Cream shortening. Add sugar and cream together until light and fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and blend well. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 250 degrees for 40 minutes. They must be baked slowly.
*Grind chocolate and nuts together. Put chocolate in refrigerator. It will grind much better.
