Olive Garlic Dip
rec.food.cooking/Christine Neidecker

Here's a recipe using green olives w/ pimientos stuck in them. It's kind of a salty, packaged-food kind of recipe, which I normally don't like, but for some reason, I really enjoy this. My father-in-law makes it to eat with potato chips during football games.

Chop up a handful of pimiento-stuffed green olives into a bowl. Add a small container of sour cream. Pour a little olive brine in, and stir. Add a hearty sprinkling of garlic powder and stir well. There should be plenty of olive chunks, lots of garlic and olive flavor, and the dip should be a bit thinner than sour cream, but not runny.
