Tuna Salad with Cottage Cheese
rec.food.cooking/Claire

Combine:
1 can of tuna packed in water, drained
about 1/4 cup chopped onion (or leek if you want a milder taste)
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
about 1 teaspoon chopped pickles or hamburger relish

Mix this in with some cottage cheese. Eat it alone or on bread in a sandwich. This is also a great filling for a tomato.

I use cottage cheese in a lot of things that call for mayonaise as the base.
