Strawberry Banana Nut Congealed Salad
serves 8
2 3 oz. pkgs. strawberry gelatin 1 c. boiling water 1 10 oz. pkgs. frozen sliced strawberries 1 16 oz. can crushed pineapple, well drained 1 c. chopped pecans 3 bananas, sliced very thin 2 8 oz. sour cream
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add next 3 ingredients and mix well. Put half of this mixture into a shallow 2 quart glass pan, spread it out evenly and let it set until firm in fridge. Spread sour cream over top evenly and layer the sliced bananas over this. Spoon the rest of the gelatin mixture on and smooth out to the edges. Cover and return to fridge to set til firm. Cut into squares and serve on lettuce leaves.
