Maple-Pecan Sweet Potatoes

I have a simple recipe that works for sweet potatoes and yams that my friends love. place cooked,cut up sweet potatoes in a casserole dish. No juice or other liquids. Pour maple pancake syrup over them. Sprkinle crushed pecans over them and heat in oven. Marshmellows are optional to add on top just before you take them out of the oven.
