Orange Chicken rec.food.cooking/Billy Yield: 4 Servings
2 tbsp orange juice concentrate 2 tbsp soy sauce 2 tsp chicken bouillon 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch 1/2 tsp ginger 3/4 lb chicken breast strips 2 garlic cloves, minced 1/2 cup carrots, thin sliced 1 red pepper, sliced 1/2 lb snow pea pods 4 oz mushroom, sliced 1 small onion, sliced 8 oz water chestnuts, sliced cooked rice
In small bowl, combine 1/2 cup water, orange juice concentrate, soy sauce bouillon, cornstarch and ginger. mix well and set aside. Spray a large skillet with non stick spray. Place over medium high heat and add chicken and garlic. Stir fry for 3 minutes.
Remove chicken from skillet and keep warm. In same skillet, stir fry fresh vegetables about 3 minutes. Add chicken water chestnuts and bouillon mixtures. cook 2 minutes until thickened. Serve over hot rice.
