Easy Skillet Sticky Chicken

This is easy and tasty

2 tbsp oil
3 lb chicken cut up
1 pkg onion soup mix
1/2 cup apricot or peach preserves
1/4 cup favorite barbecue sauce
1/4 cup water

Brown chicken in oil and drain off fat. Combine the remaining ingredients and stir into the skillet with chicken.

Turn heat to low and cover and simmer 30 minutes. Stir occassionally.

Serves 4
