Chocolate Pudding rec.food.cooking/Elise Monnia
The following recipe is simple but over the years I have gotten many compliments on it. It is just as easy to make as the boxed kind but it is so much better.
2 oz unsweetened chocolate 3 Tbsp cornstarch 3/4 cup sugar (more if you like it sweeter) 2 cup milk (2% is good not skimmed) 1 tsp vanilla extract
In saucepan combine all ingredients except vanilla. Over medium heat stir constantly, be patient it will thicken as it comes to a boil. Add vanilla and cook while stirring another minute or two. Cool in fridge uncovered for a few hours. |
