All Bran Seed Loaf Source: Kellogg's Makes 1 loaf
3/4 cup whole wheat flour 3/4 cup flour 1 tbsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/3 cup sesame seed; about 1.3/4-oz. 2 tsp poppy seed 3/4 cup orange juice 1/4 cup honey 2 eggs 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup Kellogg's All Bran cereal
Stir together whole wheat flour, flour, baking powder, salt, and seeds. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat orange juice, honey, eggs, oil and All Bran cereal until well combined. Let stand 2 mins. Add flour mixture, stirring only until combined.
Spread batter evenly in greased 8 1/2x4 1/2x2 1/2-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350F about 40 mins. or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. Let cool 10 mins. before removing from pan. Cool completely before slicing. |
