Curried Chick Peas and Tomatoes rec.food.veg.cooking/marieje One of my favorite quick and easy dinners:
1 large onion, chopped 1 (1 lb) can stewed tomatoes, drained 1 (1 lb) can chick peas, drained and rinsed curry powder to taste (approx. 1 tbsp.)
Saute onion in some oil or margarine. Add chick peas, stewed tomatoes, and curry powder. Cook on medium high till heated through. Serve with pita bread or over rice.
