Strawberry Jell-O Pudding Cake
alt.cooking/Rebeccah Sargent (1999)

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
6 oz. pkg. strawberry Jell-O
1 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding
Whipped cream
Fresh strawberries

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Bake in a greased and floured 9x12 inch rectangular cake pan. Let the cake cool to room temperature.

Using a two pronged cooking fork, poke holes from top to bottom all over the cake. Dissolve Jell-O in 2 cups of boiling water. Once dissolved thoroughly, add 2 cups of cold water and stir. Pour mixture over the cake and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Prepare pudding according to package directions. Before pudding is set, fold in whip cream; spread it over the top of the cake. Refrigerate until pudding is set. Add sliced fresh strawberries, if desired and serve. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
